MHT‑CET Syllabus & Exam Pattern
As per State CET Cell (Technical Education), MHT‑CET is based on the SCERT Maharashtra syllabus with ~20% from Std. XI and ~80% from Std. XII. No negative marking; difficulty level aligns with JEE (Main) for PCM and NEET for Biology.
Paper‑wise Pattern & Weightage
| Paper | Subject(s) | Std. XI MCQs | Std. XII MCQs | Marks / Q | Total Marks | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paper I | Mathematics | 10 | 40 | 2 | 100 | 90 min |
| Paper II | Physics & Chemistry | 10 (Phy) + 10 (Chem) | 40 (Phy) + 40 (Chem) | 1 | 100 | 90 min |
| Paper III | Biology | 20 | 80 | 1 | 100 | 90 min |
Important: Based on SCERT syllabus; approx. 20% from Std. XI and 80% from Std. XII. No negative marking.
