Why we can’t achieve what we want?

Let’s start this with a few questions.

  1. What is your dream?
  2. What are your goals?
  3. What efforts are you putting in daily to make it achievable?

I think most of you will have answers to the above two questions but when it comes to the third question most of us don’t put effort daily. The majority don’t have any tracking or measuring system that will help you to know that is your effort is enough or if it is increasing with time.

So talking about why we can’t achieve our long-term goals in reality it’s a problem of daily consistent efforts.

Imagine that you are playing a game where you don’t get awarded (coins or points) for achieving your targets and going to the next level. Will you play that game? Most of you will answer no, Shubham we will not play that game and even few people are ready to play that game in the long term mostly they will discontinue. So it is also important that you award yourself self time to time for small victories and achievements. This will keep you pushing further.

Many of us often don’t want what we keep saying. Like I will give you an example of myself.

I love to exercise and maintain my physique and I work workout for 3 to 4 days a week which is strength training cardio for 40 mins at least once a week. But when it comes to avoiding outside food being foody I always fail to say no and I always overeat which makes my body out of shape. So the question is do I want to achieve the physique that I wish to? Because If I want it I will need to drop the habit of overeating.

I think many of you may be in the same situation that you want to achieve something or other in your life and there is some habit of your which is an obstacle that will always stop you from achieving what you deserve. But the question is do you what it is? Is it a lack of consistency or is it a lack of self-discipline or something else? Let me also let you know that you need to find the specific problem and then try to solve it. And again for the same, you need to jot down all the things daily or have some kind of tracking or measuring system. You may wonder which system I should make or where will I get it. Don’t overthink just to get started start making a to-do list and with time you will find your system that I guarantee.
